Objective:

The objectives of the Texas 4-H Horse Program include providing means for 4-H members to:

  • Acquire horsemanship and horse training skills.

  • Gain knowledge concerning science related subjects, including horse production, management, training, evaluation and use.

  • Prepare for citizenship responsibilities and community service.

  • Develop leadership, initiative, self reliance, sportsmanship, and other desirable life traits.

* Note: A minimum number of entries are required in order to host classes in these divisions.


Class Fees:
  • Qualifying Show Divisions - $10.00 per class, no limit on number of classes.
  • Non-Qualifying Divisions - Fees based on division (see letter).

Entry Deadline: Registration and payment should be made through
4-H CONNECT by May 30, 2008.

Late Registration will require a $30 late fee and will end on June 6, 2008.
