Celebrate the centennial

From September 1, 2007 to August 31, 2008 the Texas 4-H and Youth Development Program will celebrate 100 years of youth development in Texas. We encourage you to visit the 4-H Centennial site and learn how you can "Make it Yours" after 100 years of Texas 4-H. More Info

  • Reflect on and understand the value o 4-H learning experiences
  • Monitor the growth and development of 4-H members
  • Provide awards and recognition
  • Document the value of 4-H participation
    (these are the reasons we do recordbooks, not the objectives reached through 4-H projects and coded into the recordbook)

-Registration

-Welcome and Judges’ Meeting
-Judges Roll Call
-Assignment of Judges’ Work Areas
-Orientation

10:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
-Judging In Progress

12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
-Lunch on your own

1:00 p.m.
-Judging continues
-Adjourn upon completion of judging


Fee: There is no fee for Recordbooks entered in District Competiton. First place Senior Recordbooks are eligible to compete at State, and there is a $12.00 fee for this opportunity.
